A simple dry rub for a perfectly moist chicken
Ingredients
- 4 lb Chicken
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried mustard
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Place the chicken in a medium-sized bowl. In a separate small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Rub with spices, truss, and insert the rotisserie fork (see manual or quick start guide for step by step instructions).
- Baste with olive oil. Use Rotisserie Tong to insert the chicken into the rotisserie position. Press the Rotisserie button and air fry at 380°F for 35-40 minutes.
- Using a meat thermometer, check to make sure it has reached a safe internal temperature of 165°F. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
