This a great example of a healthy dessert, because apples are tremendous for weight loss, heart health, bone health and more. Gala apples were our go-to, but feel free to use Fuji, honey crisp or granny smith for a sour taste!

Ingredients

  • 1 red apple
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Using a slicing mandolin, thinly slice and core the apple.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Add the apple slices and coat them well.
  3. Line the air fryer basket with perforated parchment paper (optional) to prevent sticking.
  4. Spread apple slices evenly inside the basket and air fry at 250◦F for 1 hour.
