This a great example of a healthy dessert, because apples are tremendous for weight loss, heart health, bone health and more. Gala apples were our go-to, but feel free to use Fuji, honey crisp or granny smith for a sour taste!
Ingredients
- 1 red apple
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Using a slicing mandolin, thinly slice and core the apple.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Add the apple slices and coat them well.
- Line the air fryer basket with perforated parchment paper (optional) to prevent sticking.
- Spread apple slices evenly inside the basket and air fry at 250◦F for 1 hour.
