An American favorite that will sure to bring comfort your way. Using apples in a recipe is ideal, because apples are great for weight loss, preventing cancer, maintaining your digestive health and more.
Ingredients
- 1 medium apple
- 2 Tbsp walnuts, chopped
- 2 Tbsp raisins
- 1 ½ tsp butter, melted
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ cup water
- agave nectar
Instructions
- Cut the apple in half around the middle and spoon out some of the flesh. Place the apple in a cake pan safe for the air fryer.
- In a small bowl, combine the butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, walnuts and raisins. Spoon the mixture into the centers of the apple halves.
- Pour water into the pan and place the cake pan in the air fryer basket. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Drizzle agave nectar over the top of the apples and enjoy!
